He was well known and highly acclaimed in Bollywood and Hollywood for his immense acting talent displayed in films like Maqbool, Paan Singh Tomar, Haider, Hindi Medium, Piku, The Lunchbox, The Namesake, Life of Pi, Inferno, Slumdog Millionaire, Jurassic World, The Amazing Spider-Man, A Mighty Heart, Puzzle, The Darjeeling Limited and The Warrior.
