One thing Iβve learned as I shade is that the eyes make a BIG difference!! So I decided to color this close-up to show you how I do it!
. . .
-highlights are important!! On some templates the highlight isnβt a separate section so I make sure to go over those with white crayon so they POP!

-I love doing eyeshadow on my portraits. For this example I used neutral colors but you can always switch it up. The key is to use light near the inner corner and dark in the outer. Finish it off with smoky black next to the lashes. (And btw this can be applied to real makeup too)

-shade the whites of the eye! If you leave it perfectly white it can look unnatural. So I always add a light gray shadow. I shade the iris as well.
-if the template doesnβt include it, add a lighter waterline under the eye to make the eye look rounder and bigger.
-color the inner corner with a light pink. I shaded it here but normally I wouldnβt: it wonβt be visible on a regular portrait.

Iβm excited for this challenge!!!!
This time, Iβm actually going to upload at least 3 pictures.
Basic colors, details marked, and final.
Havenβt decided if Iβll make it 4 yet.
The 4th, if I do add it, will the step 2.5. Blending the colors without working on the background yet.
I really want to showcase what before, marked and after look like.
Itβs the easiest to see how details in general make a difference by seeing all the steps separately.
Iβll decide officially by challenge start, lol
