It’s not often I end up coloring a picture that has pre existing shadows already built in.
I think it’s really nice!!
The next picture I upload will be bold in colors to compensate for the large amount of monotone colors I put in this one.

I played around with floor and wall colors and just was never happy with it.
I think it’s more that I don’t like the uneven lines in the room.
The lines go everywhere and make the room feel like it’s warped.
Examples: Window top doesn’t match the line below, platform the boat on the wall is at a horizon level, dresser is higher in angle than the wood panel at the base of the window, the poser is facing the viewer and not matching the walls, etc.

I thought about drawing another sock on the floor but ended up not doing it.
Socks like to run in pairs though! 😂
I think this picture would be fun with an ‘I Spy’ type theme for the other sock.
Hint for the missing sock ideas:
- sock under furniture
- sock under pillow
- sock attached to the poster
- sock in a tree
- sock in another house
