I was blessed to go to the pyramids a few years ago to spend time with a friend. We did tons of touring...all the way to the Asswan dam and the Red Sea. The sand is so fine and it gets in everything.

I was there as well! Lived in North Africa for two years! You are so right about the sand! The sand storms were called Giblee.
