The burnout continues… so this week I had a test and a quiz right after another. I did fairly well on both of them and I am really proud of that!!! I also had to call schools to set up times to observe a class. I called the middle school and high school I went to. They had no idea how to set up observations. My middle school had me on hold for the longest time and I ended talking to my principal (he didn’t remember me 🥺). For my high school I was transferred four different times and I had to…

1 year agoRepeat myself four times just to repeat myself again on someone’s voicemail!!!! Yeah… my middle school and high school have yet to call me back and I am kind of freaking out. I have to get in 20 observation hours by December 8th!!!! Becoming a teacher is hard!!!! 😞

1 year agoOh, and I forgot to mention that a creep is trying to get into every school in my town. He is calling every school district claiming he was a former student and trying to get into schools. So yeah ummm I am automatically a red flag when I ACTUALLY have an assignment to OBSERVE!!!!! 😖 The timing is just terrible!!!!

1 year agoI know right!!! @denki supremacy⚡ and @Lost Stars I even sent the people I talked to an email but I didn’t get a response. I guess I’ll call again Monday 🤷♀️ That’s correct, I’m going to be a special ed teacher and thank you guys so much!!! 😊 My teachers also said I would be an amazing teacher.

Dang that’s a lot! Pretty much every woman in my family was a teacher at one point in their life so I know quite a bit about how hard teachers work but not like the college side of it

Yep, and he even gave me 4 awards before I promoted to high school!!! 🙄 Hopefully they figure stuff out soon and call me back. 🥺
That’s so cool!!! I am going to be the first teacher in my family (well besides my half brother’s girlfriend). On top of college, I have to deal with my parents not supporting me becoming a teacher. But it is not all bad. Three of my amazing high school teachers have took me under their wing. 🥹
