Oh my dear I’m so sorry. We had this happen in our family. But my cousin burned the house down with him in it. He let his wife go. Mental illness is not addressed. I think we are talking more about it. Take care.

Thanks for all your kindness and prayers. These past few months I have lost my ex husband the father of my three adult children, my younger brother, and now going through this traumatic experience with my step daughter is just unbelievable. She truly thinks he was going to kill her then himself. It’s all still so unreal! I feel like I’m watching this on a tv show. But I’m not. I know many people have suffered grief and loss and trauma. Oh sweetie I don’t know what to say what can we say i mean I have lived with domestic violence but not to this degree 🙏 sending you prayers sweetie but you know you have got to be so strong to get yoh all through this because although she has suffered this trauma she may still love him it’s so hard to explain unless you have lived with it so please be strong and be ready for every emotion she is going to go through from guilt to hate to love to blame xxx thinking of you all sending love & prayer

@frankie thanks so much for your input. I just got back from seeing her and the cops want her to get a protection from abuse order and she said she really doesn't want to go through the whole process, especially with him still in a coma. I can't imagine what she's feeling but I do know she hasn't wanted to see anyone but us. She's barely sleeping. Her face is badly bruised. more so than I thought. I definitely hear ya. I'll be keeping all of this in mind. ❤️🙏🙏

Omg, what a tragic thing to have happen. Please tell her that when she's ready to see people the DV advocates in your local area will always be there to listen. It's confidential and three's no pressure. Many prayers and best wishes.
