I just now read your post about the yearly cost. I renewed in March so I am good for a good while yet, but I agree with with @TerryLynnAbuali ....sounds like absolute greed to me and being taken advantage of while Covid is around and ppl are stuck at home, perhaps using the app more than usual. How unscrupulous of Recolor!! Shame on you, Recolor, shame!!!

@TerryLynnAbuali @🌳Brenavere🌳 I did write to them twice. Technically it says on my iTunes account that I am subscribed, I pay monthly, the amount due is 14.99 and it’s due next on June 24. As long as I didn’t breach my agreement, or cancel it, the subscription goes on as is. So imagine my anger when I got on and all crayons except the first set were not available, and no colors after you hit metallics. No pictures either only free one. I told them in my email I was willing to renew ..

@TerryLynnAbuali @🌳Brenavere🌳 On June 24 .... But the fact that they removed all my goodies NOW leaves me with a miserable coloring experience. They need to turn it back on until June 24. Then if I have to renew I will. $89.99 for a year. $29.99 a month. This is new cost. It’s double. No warning, no nothing. My iTunes says I’m still currently subscribed and current... but they turned it off out of the blue. I did not cancel my subscription. It’s to force me to pay double

@Deborah H Check your App subscriptions in Settings if you have iPhone/iPad. The cost should be accurate in there. Mine is. Apple doesn’t mess around if there is any foul play on the App. 📲I still say the better deal is the yearly fee. After a few months paying the monthly charge, you’ve already paid for the year ($89.99)Anyway, Good luck! I believe Apple will have the correct price. Turning off your colors??I would screenshot what Apple says in settings & email that for proof to get colors back

@photobert I did go to settings and make a screen shot. It says my subscription is current, next payment due in June 24 for $14.99. I sent it to them through the app like they said. I’m so angry really. I have subscribed for all the years they’ve been operating. And it’s hard to not have the colors you want. I’m not a basic colors type person. So it causes me stress and makes it harder than it should. Plus it’s unfair. I can’t be the only one they did this to??? Right ?

@Deborah H I’m sorry you’re feeling frustrations...I totally understand because of when it happened to me! Unfortunately, they have us over a barrel. I realize prices go up but doubling is not fair. It doubled on me as well last year. It took forever to have it straightened out. I’m so afraid I’m going to come on one day and find I’ve been mysteriously“ logged out” again since the prices have increased again now! I’m at 79.99 a year now. It took me a while to get past it. Hang in there!

@🌳Brenavere🌳 I hope this doesn’t happen to you! They do have us over a barrel. I realize prices go up but why double it? When it happened to me last year it doubled then as well. Hubby pointed out to me it’s pennies a day over the year and much cheaper, but if this keeps doubling I may be forced to stop at some point and I don’t want to...it’s the best coloring APP I’ve found...And they know it! 😂. So we pay it if we want to continue! It’s been so helpful for me in my health situation.😊

@TerryLynnAbuali Deborah and Terry, this is craziness! I’ve only had RC for 2 years, I paid monthly (14.99) for a few months until I realized how much I like it and then switched to a yearly subscription. I’m a little paranoid now as I am totally screwed if they ask me to sign in through Facebook. I ended my FB account more than 10 years ago because I found it negative and horrific and actually, rather evil. So I cannot sign in through FB. I’ll quit RC altogether before I’ll have FB again.

Beautiful 🌸💕🌸💕🌸love the background. Geez louize!! That’s outrageous!! I wonder if that applies only to monthly subscribers?? So far I’ve not run into this, I pay yearly. But in saying that I’ve had frustrating issues myself, continually getting booted out, not able to post or comment 🤯 sometimes when I reboot my coloured pictures are no longer coloured 🤬😳

Hi Deborah, first of all I love this piece, did you colour with the basic tools? Amazing! Secondly, I read in your last post your op went well 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 happy for you....thirdly, I have EXACTLY your problem....they (Recolor)sent me a long list they say Apple requires to look into the problem. They have, to be fair, helpful in helping me understand some of the jargon (in the request from Apple) I don’t understand. I’ll try and send what I can. I subscribe monthly and my next payment will be on 23/6.

I deleted the app and reinstalled it, didn’t fix the problem. I ended up with a free trial for a week after which they want me to subscribe. Like you, I am technically already subscribed. So I have still 5 days of full usage of the whole gamma of tools. Of course I cancelled the ‘new’ subscription. Not sure how this will go...my husband wants me to give in as I love colouring so much....but it annoys me no end...especially because the app plays up all the time. ☹️
