3 years ago@Deborah H You are so sweet! Thank you for your last beautiful comment on my portrait painting. I have such a difficult time adding high contrast to my contouring & I have so much to learn. Anyway your comment made me feel so good. Thank you! 💕I hope you have a beautiful day. We are finally going to the beach today. It’s 90 degrees-Yay! I think a mask will be super hot in the sun (when we get closer than 6 feet to people) but we will remove them when we have at least 10 feet of space. We’ll see.

3 years ago@photobert. Have a great time ! I love the beach .... but I never lived by one, just vacations. But a pool is better than nothing, so I hope I get the okay to swim in about 10 days ! I’ll swim during the day and sun and be all by myself. But Baxter can’t come out with me it’s too hot for him. I got a big floating chair but haven’t used it. Maybe he’ll go in it with me. I don’t know where his life jacket is. Bad mommy😊. I’m thinking beach thoughts now .... lucky girl 👏👏👏

3 years ago@KarenMay I love them ! My whole family, starting with my parents, loved licorice. My dad loved black licorice, and my mom loved Black jack and beeman’s gum. My sisters and I got hooked on licorice snaps. I think it’s because my dad used to own a carry out on the side, and it had all those penny candies. Snaps were in a red box and cost $.03. Hershey bars were $.05 ! That’s how OLD I am 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

3 years agoI used to love the red coins too.... and Mary Janes ... and the nougat candies...and chocolate babies....and the little candy dots on paper strips! If you’re really missing that good ol’ stuff you can buy a lot of it online at Vermont Country Store. Not cheap, but the real deal. Just check it out for a visit down memory lane. 😊💕😊💕

3 years ago@KarenMay I love all those too !!! OMG. ♥️ You can go to big online bulk candy stores and they ship them. There are so many of us who love our old childhood faves that they bring them back every few years. I used to love Mars bars too. I haven’t seen those for a while. I only have one sibling left, carol. We found out American licorice makes snaps only in the fall, So at least we can get some if the urge strikes. This has been so much fun! Can we sing oldies now PLEASE 😎😎😎
