hey P...gosh I hate when that happens...if I can't finish a picture and need to close out...upon reopening instead of choosing continue coloring (this is when the template blanks out on me at times) I choose duplicate...it will duplicate the work I did already creating a copy......and if the duplicate blanks out upon opening.....i duplicate the original again...just in case... GORGEOUS picture....wow... the background is amazing...

3 years agoAnd yes...I do the same thing unless I forget and I’ve forgotten and lost work...ugh!! Ridiculous we should have to do that I mean really...maybe they should concentrate on fixing it instead of taking down absolutely beautiful artistry they I see you all do and many for NO REASON!!

3 years ago@Ankitha Nair - yes! I’ve completely lost work on one occasion, so it’s definitely not full proof. Sooooo frustrating! Sorry that’s happened to you, too, but good to know it sometimes works. ✨✨✨

BUT! ...or, ALSO!
If you open a Copy (*not* Continue Coloring) from a template that appears to have reverted to blankness, you can sometimes still saved the work you just did, without having to recreate.
I do both - what you suggested, and what I’ve described. I also save, save, save. Learned from frustrating experience. 😑

Seems like we’re describing two different problems...
I almost never choose Continue Coloring. The only time I do that is when the app crashes as I’m opening a new copy. Why create duplicate exact copies?
Otherwise, I always choose Copy.
