I started the morning in New Orleans by going to Brennan’s for Breakfast (see my earlier picture). After spending the evening having a few hurricanes 🍹 at Pat O’Brien’s and listening to some jazz 🎵 at Preservation Hall I decided that before I head back to my hotel I’d stop at one of my favorite spots in New Orleans - The Cafe Du Monde - for beignets and coffee.

Guess I need to clarify I’m not in New Orleans. I just try to include a comment or a story with my pictures to personalize or explain them. Oh Maurice that sounds like so much fun! I was in New Orleans back in 1974 when I was fresh out of grad school! It was so fun! I still have my hurricane glass from Pat O'Briens! We did Brennan's for breakfast and also had beignets at Cafe due Monde! Such great memories! Thank you for coloring this great picture and bringing back all those memories for me! 💕🤗
