She went out looking for the comet but there were too many trees. We on the other hand were finally successful in seeing Comet Neowise. It was a beautiful dark clear night, but we still needed binoculars and all we could see was a blurry smudge. On the positive side my camera got a great view! After a 30 second exposure on a tripod it showed up in my Canon along with many more stars. We definitely would have had a better view in a desert or in the mountains away from civilization. ππ€πππ«βοΈπβοΈπππͺ

3 years agoFantastic!! Love your background! Thank you for your comment on my 1973 baking post. I still catch "The Brady Bunch" once in a while. My favorite all time show though is "I Love Lucy." I did watch "Bewitched" too. I am so happy that that post brought so much fun memories back for people. ππ

3 years agoSheβs mesmerizingly beautiful! Her eyes are the color of the head of Neowise. Did you know they are greenish blue? Gentry and I watched from the ranch, we could see it without binoculars and watched 3 nights over a period of one week. The number of satellites in the sky is unbelievable..and Gβs telescope was pointed at Jupiter and he showed me 3 of Jupiterβs moons, a first for me! He and I are the big space nerds while his dad is just a big tequila nerd. Lol π€ͺ

Did it look like the pictures on the Internet? We couldnβt see it with the naked eye & our binoculars werenβt good. So my view was very faint. It was disappointing but Iβm glad my camera picked it up. So you must have been in complete darkness with tons of stars, and you had a telescope π- I definitely am envious. Also my SkyView Lite App picked up ...
