I work in a hospital in Seattle, which is ground zero here in the U.S, I am so very sorry for your loss, I know that I am saying this phrase now more than I ever had to in my 60 years of life. This virus is so heartbreaking, and there's still so many people out there that refuse to take it seriously. The other day my supervisor was in Walmart with her 8 year old daughter. her little girl looked around and said "mama. look at all these people who aren't wearing a mask" her mom replied I know, there's a lot of them" her daughter then said "I guess they just don't care about other people if they make them sick or not." And people are not thinking clearly, the mask that we don, yes will help protect us from contracting this virus, but more importantly, it protects others from catching it from you. Some of us can walk around asymptomatic and pass it on to others, maybe the older lady across the way, who is unable to wear a mask due to breathing or lung issues that have nothing to do with covid, or the little boy who runs past you to get to the candy aisle. please people keep yourself and others safe
